18th Annual Auburn CityFest Juried Art Show and Preview Reception

Join us Thursday, April 27  from 5:30-7:30pm for the 18th annual Juried Art Show and Preview Reception, presented by the Auburn Arts Association, the Auburn CityFest Committee and Auburn Opelika Tourism. Enjoy a preview reception held at the Historic Nunn-Winston House on the grounds at Kiesel Park. Great food and drinks will be provided. Artists are invited to submit works for this competition. More than $1000 in awards will be presented. This event is FREE to the public. The Auburn Arts Association will accept submissions for the show through Friday, April 21.   • Open to artists 18 years of age and older located in Alabama, and the states adjacent (GA, MS, FL and TN).


  • Artists may submit one work in any fine art medium including: painting, works on paper, three-dimensional works (ceramics/sculpture), mixed-media, jewelry and photography.


  • Awards: Ten cash awards, including two, $250 awards, presented by the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, will be selected by the award


  • A Preview Reception, open to the public, will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5:30 - 7:30 m. at the Historic Nunn Winston House at Kiesel Park. If your work will be available for sale, no commission will be charged.


  • Artworks must not exceed 10 pounds and must be under 48”. Two-dimensional art work MUST be wired for gallery hanging. Artists are responsible for the insurance on their work and sales


  • Works will be displayed at Kiesel Park on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 9 m. - 4 p.m. Awards will be announced at the Preview Reception. Artists must pick up work at Auburn CityFest between 4 - 5 p.m. on April 29, 2023.


  • Artists are responsible for delivering their works to the Auburn Arts Association the week of April 17th – 21st. Office located at 138 N. Ross St. Auburn, AL 36830 for the preview and public Artists may also deliver their works to the Nunn-Winston House located in Kiesel Park from 9 am – 4 pm on Monday, April 24th only. The address for Kiesel Park is 520 Chadwick LN, Auburn AL, 36832. Entries received after Monday April 24th will not be accepted.


  • A $35 entry fee is due upon registration. The fee is waived for artists purchasing exhibitor spaces.


  • Out of town exhibitors must mail their work by Monday, April 17, 2023 to the Auburn Arts Association Office.
