Introduction to Wheel Thrown Pottery
This class is designed to introduce or continue the fundamentals of wheel-throwing. We will focus on basic forms, such as bowls, plates, mugs, and will explore various finishing techniques such as surface decoration and altered forms. This class is also designed to help students progress having successfully completed other introductory courses. They will focus on throwing more complicated forms and various finishing techniques including surface decoration, altered forms and larger pots. This will be taught in conjunction with the introduction to wheel throwing class. If you are interested in registering for this please contact instructor Jenny Mulligan to be accepted. $200/person ($150 course fee + $50 materials)
