For the Birds--Wheel and Handbuilding Projects for Feathered Friends
Picture birds fliting, darting and flying throughout your yard enjoying the hand-crafted bird-friendly environment you have created. We will make bird feeders, bird houses, and bird baths to entice feathered friends to your yard. Since projects will use both hand-built techniques and wheel skills, participants should have a level of competence and experience with both. Thrown projects include several different designs of feeders as well as bird bottles and other similar styles of houses. Hand-built projects also include feeders and houses plus bird baths. The hand-building techniques needed will be basic, and wheel work requires ability to center consistently and pulling walls with even rims. So, fly on by and join our flock of bird-centered makers! Please register only if you can attend all scheduled classes as make-up classes cannot be arranged. $110/Course fee + $35/Materials.
