VOLUNTEER COACHES
All coaches in Auburn Parks and Recreation’s athletic programs are volunteers who are certified through the CoachSafely Foundation. Coaches should have a basic knowledge of the sport they coach. A philosophy of participation, fun, sportsmanship and fundamentals of the sports are stressed to the coaches. Coaches are asked to complete a basic application/information form prior to their selection. Potential head coaches are subject to a criminal background check.
Skills Testing - Coaches please make plans to attend your session for player evaluations
Location: Shug Jordan Fields (1520 Shug Jordan Parkway) behind fire station, unless otherwise stated.

Thursday July 31st Girls Flag - 8U girls Start time 5:15 p.m., 10U girls Start time 5:30 p.m.,12U girls Start time 6:15 p.m., 14U girls Start time 6:30 p.m.
Monday Aug. 4th TACKLE 8 & 9 year old Boys Start time 5:30 p.m., 10-12 year old Boys Start time 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday Aug. 5th Boys Flag - 10U boys Start time 5:30 p.m., 12U boys Start time 6:45 p.m.
Thursday Aug. 7th Boys Flag - 6 year old boys Start Time 5:30 p.m., 8U boys Start Time 6:45 p.m.
Coaches Meetings Schedule (For Head Coaches Only):
Meeting Dates will be announced by email.
Practice
Teams may practice twice per week during the pre-season. (Aug.18th- Sept.5th)
Teams may practice once per week during the regular season starting Sept. 8th
(Extra-Non-contact volunteer practices are allowed) Verify space availability before scheduling. .
