2026 Fall Flag/Tackle Football - Coaching Application
VOLUNTEER COACHES
All coaches in Auburn Parks and Recreation’s athletic programs are volunteers who are certified through the CoachSafely Foundation. Coaches should have a basic knowledge of the sport they coach. A philosophy of participation, fun, sportsmanship and fundamentals of the sports are stressed to the coaches. Coaches are asked to complete a basic application/information form prior to their selection. Potential head coaches are subject to a criminal background check.

Coaches please make plans to attend your session for player evaluations
Location: Lake Wilmore Park Athletic Fields, unless otherwise stated.
Coaches Meetings Schedule (For Head Coaches Only):
Meeting Dates will be announced by email.
Practice
Teams may practice twice per week during the pre-season. (Aug.10th- Aug.28th)
Teams may practice once per week during the regular season starting Aug. 31st
(Extra-Non-contact volunteer practices are allowed) Verify space availability before scheduling.
