Focused Wheel Throwing - Sectional Throwing • Register • View Cart •

This class is designed for students who are skilled at throwing well-made cylinders at least 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Come and throw taller and larger pieces using the techniques of sectional throwing! Students are expected to perform techniques taught outside of class and use the pugged clay provided by the studio for practice. We will create at least two well-made pieces of your choice on the wheel that are functional. Instructor will only focus on sectional throwing so experience centering, opening, and pulling clay to make cylinders is a must. Instructor will provide additional assistance with shaping and trimming. Please call Instructor if you have questions or concerns before registering. Come and enjoy this new experience with me! $110/participant + $20 materials fee.
