From Van Gogh Sunflowers to Haring Action Tiles to Dali Melted Clocks, you will learn and refine clay hand-building techniques to create your own clay interpretations of some well-known art works. We will create our own works of art using slabs of clay shaped with slump molds, positioned action figures, and an imaginative series of drape molds. During the class you will create and glaze your projects, and the pieces will be fired in the studio kilns when ready. The materials fee covers the cost of clay, glazes, and kiln firings. Parents, please register your child only if they are able to attend all scheduled classes. $100 Course + $25 Materials fee
