This 8-week, hands-on class focuses on the ability to repair, recycle, and creatively revive clothing. Each 90-minute weekly session blends skill-building with social connection, exploring sewing basics, visible mending, up-cycling, and garment transformations. Learn to: Embroider, embellish or otherwise personalize store-bought garments, Tailor and customize clothing for perfect fit or redesign, Transform thrift-store finds into wearable items or home decor, Repair and reinforce well-loved items for continued use. Participants complete meaningful sewing projects, reflect on clothing memories, and leave with practical skills, ecoconscious habits, and new found creative spark. $165 per person 

Session I and Session II will teach the same material. Students should choose between sessions rather than registering for both. 

Students will bring their own materials to work on. Supplies needed for sewing kit are:
Scissors 
Sewing needles
Sewing thread 
Tapestry needle
Scrap yarn, any weight, any color
