Our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is designed to develop leadership skills, responsibility, and confidence in future camp leaders. This unique, hands-on experience gives participants the opportunity to grow personally while learning what it takes to be a successful camp counselor. Registration will open Monday, April 6th.
We will offer two one-week sessions: June 8–12 & July 13–17
Each session is limited to 8 participants to ensure a meaningful and personalized experience. All applicants will initially be placed on a waitlist and invited to participate in an interview process. Interviews will take place May 4–6, and selected participants will be notified of their acceptance by May 8. Throughout the week, CITs will take on an active role in camp by planning, organizing, and leading a camp activity. In addition, participants will complete a Safe Sitter course and enjoy a special opportunity to have lunch with a local city official, offering insight into leadership beyond camp. This program is perfect for individuals who are eager to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, and take the first step toward becoming a camp counselor.
