Adult Mixed-Level Pottery Wheel with Bryce
Discover the art of wheel-thrown pottery in this fun and welcoming 6-week class designed for adult beginners. Students will learn essential ceramic techniques, including clay preparation, centering, opening, pulling walls, shaping functional forms, trimming, attaching handles, and glazing., Fees include 25 pounds of clay, use of studio tools and equipment, firings, and supervised access to 30+ studio dipping glazes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio hours throughout the session to practice techniques and complete projects outside of class time. By the end of the course, participants will have created a collection of handcrafted pottery while building confidence and proficiency at the wheel. , Class will not meet on February 18. Please ensure you can attend all scheduled class meetings, as makeup instruction cannot be arranged. No prior pottery experience is required. $200 per person ($150 course fee + $50 materials)
