Basket Weaving Workshops with Jacqueline
Wooden Based Bread Basket:
This class is for beginning basket weavers as well as weavers with prior basket weaving skills. This simple basket has an oval wooden base that gives the basket its shape. An evening class as well as a morning class session is offered on the same dates. The basket can be finished in one day, but I scheduled two classes as I don’t want anyone to ever feel rushed. So, if you finish the basket in one class, you don’t have to come back for the second class but you’re welcome to come back, purchase another wooden base (maybe in a different shape?) and weave another basket! There is no materials fee as all materials are included in the class price.
Birds Nest Basket:
This fun class is for beginners as well as experienced basket weavers. As in all of Jackie’s classes, we will be building basket weaving skills as we weave. The basket can be finished in one class, but I offer two classes per each session since I don’t want anyone to feel rushed. If you finish your basket in the first class, you don’t have to come back for the second one if you don’t want to, but you are certainly welcome to come back to the second class and leave another! These are wonderful little baskets for gifts as well as home decor and make wonderful Christmas decorations. All materials and tools are supplied. Two summer sessions are offered. The first being June 26 and July 10 (with a break in between for the Fourth of July) and August 21 and 28. Each session has a morning or evening time. So there are lots of choices!
