250 Laps for 250 Years Challenge - Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center
In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center is hosting the “250 Laps for 250 Years” Walking Track Challenge — a fun, inclusive wellness initiative designed to get the community moving.
This challenge invites participants to complete 250 laps on the walking track, symbolizing 250 years of American history. Designed for all fitness levels, the program allows individuals to progress at their own pace over a set time period while building healthy habits and consistency.
Participants can register through their MyRec account and track their laps using a personal log sheet available at the Lake Wilmore Park front desk during each visit. All participants must have an All-Inclusive Parks and Recreation membership to participate.
Those who complete all 250 laps will receive special recognition, including a certificate of completion, along with the opportunity to earn facility swag and be entered into a prize drawing.
Challenge begins June 1st. For more information, please contact Sarah Cook at scook@auburnal.gov
