Superhero Science
The Auburn community is invited to discover the science behind superpowers as McWane on the Move presents “Superhero Science” on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center. This exciting, hands-on program from the McWane Science Center will use engaging demonstrations to explore the real-world science behind some of the most popular superhero abilities. Designed for students in grades 2 through 8, the presentation blends physical science and chemistry concepts with fun, interactive experiments that spark curiosity and imagination. Participants will experience high-energy demonstrations that break down scientific principles in a way that is both educational and entertaining. From exploring forces and energy to understanding chemical reactions, “Superhero Science” encourages young learners to think critically while having fun.
