Victory Day with Auburn Football
A partnership between Auburn Football and Lee County Special Olympics, Victory Day brings Special Olympics athletes together with EAGLES Program participants and the Auburn Football Team for an unforgettable evening of connection, fun, and celebration.
Athletes and families will begin the evening by meeting in the Jordan-Hare Stadium Lobby. Athletes will then be escorted to the locker room, where they will be paired with their Auburn Football player mentor and receive their Victory Day jersey.
Parents and guardians will be guided onto the field first and may choose to sit in the stands or stand around the perimeter of the field. From there, they will have the opportunity to watch athletes make their entrance through the tunnel before participating in six exciting activity stations alongside their mentor player.
Stations will include:
• Throw & Catch
• Tackle Pads
• Agility Bags
• Uniform Try-On
• Hydration & Photos
• Mock Game
Following the stations, all participants will gather at midfield for a special closing program with Coach Golesh. Each athlete will receive a commemorative medal in recognition of their participation and accomplishments. We will then take a group photo on the field before concluding our evening together.
This event is FREE for Special Olympics athletes. Each athlete may bring up to two parent/guardian guests.
Water, electrolytes, and snacks will be provided.
Important Reminders
Victory Day is designed to create meaningful connections between our Special Olympics athletes and the Auburn Football Team through shared activities, mentorship, and encouragement. To help keep the focus on the athletes and ensure everyone can fully participate in the experience, please do not bring items for autographs or signatures. We appreciate your support in making this event about celebrating our athletes and the relationships they build with their Auburn Football mentors throughout the evening.
If you plan to wear sunscreen or insect repellent, please apply it before arriving. For field safety, no sprays may be applied on the field. Waivers and further travel details will be shared the week prior to the event.
