Tai Chi for Health and Wellness
Tai Chi is a centuries old practice rooted in the martial arts and a philosophical understanding of the laws of nature. Sometimes referred to as moving meditation, regular practice can impart grace to the body and calmness to the mind. Other benefits include increased relaxation, improved posture, dynamic balance and better breathing as well as a decrease in pain. Two decades of teaching and years of working as a therapist in adult rehabilitation has convinced the instructor and ongoing participants of the many therapeutic benefits. Mind, body, spirit/emotion in harmony. Twice a week class is recommended. Wear comfortable clothing and well fitting shoes suitable for exercise. Chairs will be available if needed. No floor work. $5/class
Intensity Level: Low to Moderate
