Jennie has played over 20 years. She teaches Mahjongg with a layering of knowledge, in a step-by-step approach, connecting the game to familiar concepts. Her love of Mahjongg includes learning strategy with the deeper traditions and respect that make Mahjongg timeless.You will complete 2 levels of instruction in this combination class. Week ONE - (Very) Beginner Mahjongg: This class is for you if you have never played in-person. For the very-very beginner. Class is intended to be taken one time followed by the Next Level Beginner Mahjongg class. Week TWO - (Next Level) Beginner Mahjongg: Basics learned? Good. Now let’s play. In this next-level class, Jennie coaches live gameplay in groups of four—sharpening decisions, locking in “best practice”, and building the muscle memory that makes confident play feel automatic. You’ll learn why rules matter, how “best practice” elevates your game, and start looking like a seasoned player—not a newbie. Each class is tailored because each game is unique.Fee is $70 for both classes. Students must attend both Saturday sessions.
