Tails and Trails Fun Run - 2026 Tails and Trails 3K
Join Auburn Parks and Recreation as we kick-off the 14th annual Bark in the Park with a 3K fun run for you and your furriest friends. Grab your running shoes and your running “pawtner” for a dog gone good time! The 6th Annual Tails and Trails 3K Fun Run will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 28th at Kiesel Park with Bark in the Park from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Online registration will begin Monday, January 5th.
Tails and Trails Fun Run registration is FREE but required. T-shirt purchase is optional for $15.In order to be guaranteed your t-shirt size, participants must register by Thursday, March 5th. A limited number of t-shirts will be available to late registrants on a first-come, first serve basis at the run. Did you know t-shirts from previous years may be purchased online? Find them under products on the parks and recreation website!
The Tails and Trails 3K is a fun run and will NOT be timed. Prizes for the top 3 finishers overall and awards for the best dressed pups will be announced at 9:45 a.m. by the starting line. Make sure to stick around for Bark in the Park from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and enjoy a variety of vendors promoting responsible dog ownership.
