This 1:1 adaptive swim class is a beginner's level aquatics course designed for individuals with disabilities who benefit from individualized support. Participants will learn how to be comfortable in a body of water, learn/practice basic swim and water safety, and gain basic swim skills such as treading water, floating, and basic swimming strokes.Any individuals who do not exhibit basic, developmentally appropriate safety will not be able to participate in these swim lessons. This includes, but is not limited to, being a danger to self or others.
