Athletes ages 9-11 and 12-15 can join Coach John Thomas at the Shoot for the Stars Academy for elite basketball training focused on skill development, fundamentals, and conditioning. This program is designed for players who are working to make their school teams, are preparing for youth league and AAU, or want to sharpen their skills with high-level training. Coach John, a 15+ years of international pro, brings global techniques to help young athletes maximize their potential! $160/month. All first-time registrants will receive a custom reversible practice jersey! These classes are limited to 10 per age group and will fill up fast! Shoot For The Stars – All Girls Academy is a basketball skill development program designed specifically for girls ages 9–14. The academy provides a positive, competitive, and confidence-building environment where young female athletes can learn, grow, and develop both on and off the court.The program is held at Lake Wilmore Recreation Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15–6:30 PM. Each session focuses on basketball fundamentals, including ball handling, shooting, footwork, passing, defense, decision-making, and overall game understanding through structured instruction, high-quality repetitions, and game-like drills.Our goal is to help girls build confidence, develop strong habits, learn teamwork, and become leaders both on and off the court.
