Building Details
Kiesel Community Building features a large open space in the interior for entertaining, as well as a catering kitchen, restroom facilities and exterior deck. Tables and chairs are included with the building rental at no additional charge. The building has its own parking lot which will be accessible during rentals.

Additional Information
  • Reservation Request must be made at least one week in advance from date of reservation. 
  • For events where admission or tickets are sold, organizers must remit 10% of the total profit to the City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department within 5 business days following the reservation. 
  • All renters are required to set up and break down furniture. Please make sure to include time to decorate and clean up in your rental time. 
  • Renters must clean the area and return the space to its original state. All trash must be placed in the available dumpster.
  • Vendors (i.e. caterer/DJ's/rentals) must have a City of Auburn business license and are subject to approval. 
  • Alcohol is not permitted on City of Auburn Parks & Recreation property without director approval. 
  • If you are a non-profit organization renting the facility for a non-profit event, the rental fee will be reduced by 50%. To qualify, the non-profit organization must be located in Auburn, and a copy of the 501(c)3 must be emailed to jburch@auburnalabama.org when the reservation request is made.  Otherwise, the full rental fee will be due upon approval. 
  • All fees must be paid within 2 business days of approval, or the reservation will be cancelled. 

Fee Schedule
**Reservation requests must be made at least one week in advance from date of reservation.**

**Please be advised that if you owe a fee for your reservation request, you will be emailed an invoice upon approval, and the full balance must be paid within two business days, or the reservation will be cancelled and the date removed from the calendar.  You can access this invoice on your customer account.**

Each Kiesel Park building rents for $75 per hour or $500 for the full day.  There is a $200 refundable damage deposit required if either building is rented.  This deposit is refundable after the event is over, as long as there is no damage to the rental area, trash left in the rental area, and the area was left the way it was found.
The pavilion at Kiesel park rents for $100 per day.  There are 20 tables ($5 each) and 100 chairs ($40 for 1-50/$80 for 51-100) available for rent at an additional cost. If the buildings are rented, there is a $25 opening/closing fee per day. There is also a $20 per hour staff fee for any hours your reservation extends beyond sunset.
