City of Auburn No-Serve Round Robin - City of Auburn Parks and Recreation: Junior Tennis Play Days (Player 6-10 Who cannot serve yet should sign-up for this event)
Come and join us for a fun Orange and Red Ball Junior Tennis Round Robin. This is an introductory to tennis matches event. This event is suitable for all players ages 6-11 who wants to play matches, but cannot serve yet. Players will play several tennis matches without serve and will keep score and have fun in individual and group settings. We will have volunteers, tennis professional and recreational leaders help kids play their matches. Players should be able to bounce and hit the ball to start a point and have some experience receiving bounce hit serves and hitting the ball back. The format is beginner friendly, but players must be able to independently bounce feed and receive serves. The matches will be played on special red ball courts and modified orange ball courts. Scoring will be simple scoring, 1,2,3 Game, Sets would be to 4. At the conclusion of the event there will be a pizza party and medal ceremony. $24/player
