Beginning WheelDiscover the art of wheel throwing in this fun, hands-on 7-week beginner class! Learn the fundamentals of centering clay, shaping forms, trimming, and glazing as you create your own ceramic pieces. No experience necessary. All materials provided. Join us and experience the joy of pottery while building skills and confidence. $200 per personNo class 11/24 Intermediate WheelRefine your wheel throwing skills in this Intermediate level class! Designed for those with basic experience and completion of beginning wheel throwing, this course explores advanced techniques in centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing. Consistent successful centering is required for this class. Guided instruction in weekly classes and open studio time are provided to provide successful skill building. Find your center! Make Your mark! Whether it's your first time around or you're dusting off old skills, this offering provides a supportive atmosphere in which to explore beginning and intermediate techniques for throwing vessels on the wheel! Create table-ready ware, exploring different shapes as confidence grows. Try your hand at trimming recessed feet, attaching handles or making lidded vessels. Schedule note: we are off the week before the final meeting in order to facilitate the last bisque firing in preparation for glazing. Because this course always has a waitlist, kindly be sure that you can attend the first and last sessions and that you will not miss more than one meeting between before enrolling. You are invited to join us for guided practice, peer coaching and the inspiration and camaraderie that come with a seat in the circle! $185 ($150 Course + $35 Materials Fee) - Spring 2026 Pricing Consistent attendance is essential for success, since we cover new material each week. Kindly confirm that you can attend all class sessions before enrolling, as full refunds are not possible once the quarter begins due to 20% plus the materials fee being subtracted.
