2024 -25 City Youth Tennis • Register • View Cart •

The goal of our youth tennis clinics is to provide quality lessons with capable instructors so youth have the opportunity to grow and learn.  We offer activities with opportunity for participation to all those who enter, regardless of skill and ability. We wish to provide kids with a fun learning experience and the chance to develop tennis and fitness skills.

We have NEW classes each month.  Register for each month separately.  Be careful when registering as refunds are only allowed prior to the start of the month.
December Registration opens Nov 4 at 8am

Needed for kids tennis:
Comfortable clothes for activity, gym shoes, and a water bottle.

If you are trying out tennis, you don’t need a racket.  We have some you can borrow.  If your child has participated in a session or two, we suggest getting them their own racket (marked with a name on it). Suggested racket sizes:

4-5 years old: 21-23 inch
6-8 years old: 23 inch
9-12 years old: 25 inch
12-17 years old: 26-27 inch

Tennis classes are OUTDOORS - on clay court 1/2/3… Come through the front door and check in at the desk.    Please come on the day you picked at registration so we can have the right instructor/child ratio.  Always check in.
Our kids classes are priced well and we don’t offer refunds/make-ups unless it is a large number of days.
We have indoor courts which are to the left of the main building.  If it’s raining and we have courts indoors, we just go indoors.  If we do NOT have indoor courts, you will receive a text message to the number on the account.  BE SURE TO SIGN UP FOR MOBILE NOTIFICATIONS!
We have a lost and found inside the building.  We keep things for about a month or so.

4-5 Year Old Tennis
Your child will have fun learning basic techniques of tennis. This clinic will help the child become accustomed to the court, the tennis racquet, and the tennis ball. Your child will learn basic tennis and movement skills. These skills will help them learn the game of tennis and improve their coordination Clinics will be on a modified court, use a shorter racquet (21-23 inches) and use a soft tennis ball (red or orange).

6-8 Year Old Tennis
Your child will become familiarized with the equipment and basic skills of tennis while participating in organized tennis activities. At this clinic, your child will start to understand and develop the correct techniques needed to play tennis. They will learn through fun tennis and movement drills. Clinics will be on a modified court, use a shorter racquet no longer than 23 inches and use a soft ball (orange).

9-12 Year Old Tennis
Your child will be introduced to rallying an orange tennis ball and to compete in various games. This is mainly a beginner to novice class. Your child will work on techniques that will improve their tennis skills. They will experience more personal success and tennis will become more fun. Also, this clinic will introduce your child to match play and tournament play. Clinics will be on a modifies court, use a shorter racquet (25 inches) and uses a soft ball (orange).

12-17 Year Old Tennis
This clinic is for all juniors just starting out playing tennis (no tennis experience) and for all juniors looking to improve their tennis skills. Your child will work on different techniques that will improve their tennis skills and fitness. Your child will become familiar with the tennis racquet, yellow tennis balls, and court positions. Through different organized activities, your child will work on ball control while rallying with other juniors. Your child will be introduced to point play and match play. Clinics will be on a full size court, use a standard size racquet (27 inches) and play with Green Dot and Yellow tennis balls. Children age 12 can sign up for one of two programs:  9-12 yr old or 12-17 yr old
